Project overview

• Build a low-code/no-code integration and automation platform that enables users to visually design process pipelines via drag-and-drop interfaces.
• The platform will connect various apps and services to automate repetitive tasks and complex workflows without requiring extensive coding knowledge.
• Candidate profile: Software Engineer. Work mode: Remote. Duration: 4 - 6 Months.

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Design and implement frontend UI components using React or Next.js to support visual pipeline building (drag-and-drop, canvas, connectors).
• Implement backend services in Node.js using Express or NestJS to manage workflow execution, user projects, and integration endpoints.
• Integrate and expose RESTful APIs, Webhooks and GraphQL endpoints to enable communication with external apps and services.
• Work with PostgreSQL or Supabase for data storage and persistence, and use TypeScript across frontend and backend for type safety.

Required skills & technologies

• Strong experience with React or Next.js and TypeScript for building interactive UIs.
• Backend experience with Node.js and either Express or NestJS; understanding of routing, middleware, authentication and job processing.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL or Supabase for schema design, queries and migrations.
• Knowledge of workflow automation concepts, RESTful APIs, Webhooks and GraphQL integrations.

Deliverables & success criteria

• A functional prototype that allows users to create, save and execute visual automation pipelines connecting multiple services.
• Secure API endpoints and webhook handlers with appropriate error handling, retries and logging for workflow reliability.
• Documentation for setup, deployment and user-facing instructions; automated tests for core components where applicable.
