Overview and objective:
- Department: Research and Development. Profile sought: Student in Mechatronic or Electrical Engineering.
- Aim: clarify intricate data sets and workflows, turning abstract information into easy and actionable insights so workers can interact with and understand complex data more intuitively.
Main tasks and expected deliverables:
- Real-time monitoring: design and implement real-time data visualization pipelines for production/operation data using AR overlays.
- Interactive content creation: produce 3D models and animated assets to represent datasets and workflow steps inside an AR environment.
- Predictive workflow optimizations: analyse workflows and propose AR-driven interventions to reduce errors or speed up tasks; provide demo scenarios and measurable KPI improvements.
Technical requirements and skills to demonstrate:
- 3D modelling and animation skills (creation/rigging/animation of assets for AR display).
- Programming knowledge in C#, C++ or Java for implementation of AR interactions, data parsing and integration with sensors or backend services.
Project scope and methods:
- Build prototype AR applications or proofs-of-concept that map data streams to visual elements and interactive controls.
- Integrate data sources for real-time monitoring (simulated or real) and validate with user-centric scenarios to prove the concept.
