Project: A mobile application to make creating, managing and discovering events easier and smarter.

Key responsibilities / features:

• Create private or public events (hikes, concerts, workshops, camping, ...).
• Invite friends directly from the app or share events via WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram.
• Discover nearby events through AI-powered recommendations based on interests, budget and location.
• Navigate to event locations with Google Maps integration.
• Receive real-time push notifications via Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• Integrates AI/NLP to understand natural-language queries and suggest matching events using semantic search and embeddings.

Technologies (from brief): React Native (mobile frontend), Node.js (backend), MongoDB, OpenAI API + Pinecone / Supabase Vector (AI/embeddings), Firebase Cloud Messaging, Google Maps SDK & Directions API. Payments optional (can be left static).
