Mission: Develop a mini-platform to design and execute real-time data pipelines based on Event-Driven Architecture, leveraging Kafka, Python, and ksqlDB, with a dedicated VS Code extension for authoring and running pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement event-driven data streams and topics (Kafka)
• Build processing logic and transformations (Python, ksqlDB)
• Create/extend a simple VS Code extension to manage and run pipelines
• Ensure reliability, observability, and minimal latency in the real-time flow
• Document architecture, setup, and operational guidelines

Profile/Skills:

• Solid Python foundations
• Familiarity with event-driven concepts and streaming systems (Kafka)
• Basic SQL; exposure to ksqlDB is a plus
• Good software engineering practices and documentation
