Overview:
- Development of a standalone web application that helps children strengthen reading and reasoning skills through visual and narrative riddles.
- Learners interact with playful story-based challenges and receive adaptive hints (text, image, and optional audio) to support engagement and comprehension.
Scope & Features:
- Story-driven riddle engine with progressive difficulty to adapt to learner progress.
- Visual and written hints to reinforce decoding and memory; optional Text-to-Speech (TTS) for audio hints.
- Secure content management area (Admin dashboard) for educators to create, manage and moderate new riddles.
- Optional API to allow external EdTech platforms to use the riddle system.
Responsibilities / Contribution:
- Implement frontend interfaces for story-based challenges and hint presentation using Next.js, TailwindCSS and React Query.
- Build backend services (Node.js/Express) and integrate database storage (MongoDB or PostgreSQL) and authentication (Firebase Auth or Auth.js).
- Develop the admin dashboard for content creation and moderation and expose an optional API for external integration.
Required profile & Expectations:
- Software Engineer / Fullstack developer trainee capable of working across frontend and backend components.
- Comfortable with version control (Git / GitHub) and deployment targets (Vercel / Render).
