Overview:

• SafarTun is an intelligent and fun tourism app offering real-time deals and experiences across Tunisia.
• The project combines AI, Augmented Reality (AR), and gamification to create interactive and engaging visits for tourists and locals.

Key features:

• Multilingual AI guide “Teta Zohra” to assist users during visits and provide contextual information.
• Interactive challenges & rewards, plus a “Going Out with Friends” mode to promote group experiences and social engagement.

Technical scope & responsibilities:

• Develop AI components (chat/assistant behaviors) and integrate them into the mobile app; work with multilingual models and conversational flows.
• Implement AR experiences using Unity/AR toolsets and integrate gamification mechanics (challenges, rewards, leaderboards).
• Mobile app development using Flutter (cross-platform), collaborate on UX/UI design and ensure smooth user flows.
• Participate in project management activities: sprint planning, coordination with designers, QA and deploying releases.

Skills sought:

• AI development experience, familiarity with integrating conversational agents or assistants.
• Experience with AR/Unity, Flutter, mobile app development and UX/UI design; ability to prototype interactive features.

Logistics & application:

• Duration: 6-8 month (offered as a PFE placement). Number of trainees: 4 PFE.
