Project Overview
- This project focuses on optimizing the material production flow within the BMW Production Department.
- The goal is to create a Mechanical handling system to ensure a one-piece-flow between various work steps including line, foaming, electrical test, check, and pack.
Key Tasks
- Define Scope: Map the current state of production, collect relevant data, and identify areas of waste.
- Design Future State: Propose solutions, estimate costs, and implement changes to improve efficiency.
- Measure Results: Compare the production metrics before and after implementation to assess improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Adjust processes based on results to ensure ongoing enhancements in production flow.
