Project Overview
- Development of an internal delivery robot for offices, schools, and hotels.
- Complete simulation of the robot's operation in a multi-floor environment.
Technical Tasks
- Define the system components including a compact mobile base, secure container, and user interfaces.
- Model the robot and its environment using Gazebo/Ignition.
- Implement ROS2 along with SLAM/Nav2 for navigation, including floor maps, door passages, and obstacle avoidance.
Objectives
- Simulate multi-point missions and elevator logic using mock API/IO.
- Validate performance metrics such as mission time, success rate, and incident recovery.
- Design the overall architecture to ensure the robot can deliver documents, meals, and packages between different services and floors.
