Job Description: Data Collection for Climate Resilience Analysis on Urban Roads

Project Details:

  • Research Program: I-site FUTURE, CADILLAC project (2024/26)
  • Responsibles: Dr. Armelle Chabot, Research Director & Dr. Mohamed Belmokhtar, State Public Works Engineer

Project Overview:

In the context of climate change and its impact on future cities, researchers from MAST-LAMES and GERS-LEE at Gustave Eiffel University are conducting joint research to analyze the resilience of urban roads to climate. The project aims to collect long-term environmental data (temperature, humidity, etc.), especially under the multi-material surfaces of urban roads built to withstand heavy traffic loads.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Collect data on climate fluctuations for multi-layered road structures
  • Utilize skills in descriptive statistical analysis, data management, and organization
  • Use programming languages and tools (Python, SQL, JavaScript, etc.) to manipulate, structure, and visualize data

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills
  • Proficiency in data management and organization
  • Experience with programming languages and data visualization tools
