Within the Hermès Artistic Department, the Drawings Studio handles all projects related to drawings applied to Hermès’ various product categories and métiers.
The Studio Dessins is seeking a 6-month intern for its Artistic Department, starting in September 2026. The internship is based in Paris.
Integrated within the Drawings and Graphic Creation Studio team and reporting to the Artistic Coordinator, the intern will be responsible for:
Carrying out research and monitoring to pre-select designers (schools, exhibitions, fairs, shows, magazines, books, web, etc.)
Compiling designers’ presentation files (notes on the creators’ careers, concise summaries of their artistic expressions and past collaborations, research and selection of photos representative of their creative universe)
Searching within an international and multicultural perimeter: acting as a local researcher seeking new talents, new writings, and emerging trends
Conducting iconographic research to illustrate briefs, subjects, and themes for the different universes and métiers; illustrating the annual theme; supporting designers in their drawing projects
Scanning original drawings; initiating prints of scale models; producing prints to prepare meetings with the house’s Artistic Directors and Creative Directors
Maintaining boards, collection plans, and designer files up to date
Updating presentations of Studio topics and the drawing projects in progress by trades
Profile:
Student in the final year of a bachelor’s or master’s degree; dual training appreciated
Solid knowledge of the contemporary art scene and art history is essential, with connections to an international or multicultural artistic network
Sensitivity to cultural news is essential
Interest in digital media is appreciated
Strong communication, anticipation and initiative, and proven ability to manage deadlines and priorities
Autonomy, curiosity, and responsiveness
Organizational rigor, versatility, practicality, and the ability to synthesize
Team spirit and collaborative mindset, good listening skills, and ability to motivate and coordinate the actions of various stakeholders
Proficiency with Macintosh environments, strong command of Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite
Knowledge of the Adobe Suite and/or InDesign is a plus
Fluent written and spoken English; knowledge of French is optional
