Design and Implementation of Recurrent Load Testing for Expensya

Description

• Define scope, phases, and execution frequency of load testing.
• Prioritize and model real-life usage for the most frequently used modules.
• Author realistic test scripts in JMeter (recording, parameterization, correlation, sessions, think time) with secure auth flows.
• Execute large-scale tests in Azure Load Testing with safe isolation and no production impact.
• Collect and analyze metrics: response times, throughput, error rate, concurrent users/sessions; resource metrics via Azure Monitor/Application Insights.
• Align SLAs/SLOs (latency, throughput, error rates) with client expectations.
• Produce comprehensive performance reports and dashboards; highlight bottlenecks and recommend optimizations with iterative validation.
• Ensure future modules/features can be load-tested pre-deployment.
• Integrate tests into Azure DevOps pipelines with performance thresholds and quality gates; set up Azure Dashboards for centralized visibility.
• Document the performance test plan, tooling architecture, runbooks, and collaborative specs; communicate ROI and findings to stakeholders.
