Your main tasks
8D report preparation, root cause analyses, definition of corrective actions, and verification of their effectiveness
Serve as the primary contact for the customer and lead the complaint-handling process
Prepare and maintain quality documentation (Control Plan, QIP, Failure Catalogue, control charts/cards, etc.)
Maintain and develop Quality Management in the assigned area in accordance with IATF 16949
Execute key quality strategies aligned with plant performance metrics
Implement, maintain (including reporting changes) and improve the Business Operating System in the assigned area, coordinating with other areas/departments and EMIA guidelines
Align with TE's strategy map (e.g., extraordinary customer service) and the Quality Policy
Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and legal regulations
Support and guide employees to work safely, comply with regulations, TE policies and specifications, and achieve environmental sustainability goals
Strive for continuous process improvement to enhance customer satisfaction
Have the authority to stop shipments and production in the event of a quality issue
Conduct internal process and product audits in accordance with IATF 16949 and VDA
Collaborate on implementing specific customer requirements into our systems and processes
Actively support CPS and CoPQ reduction
Handle customer and intercompany complaints in TECHS and on customer portals
Communicate with the customer in case of a complaint, presenting root cause and corrective actions
Prepare and lead customer audits related to quality issues and new project releases
Follow up on audit results and track action plans from customer audits related to quality issues, new project releases, and internal D6 verification audits and internal process audits
Be a key team member for the preparation or update of PFMEA
Travel to customer sites as needed
Coach and train Line Inspectors on new requirements, projects, and changes related to processes, products, and Quality documentation
Conduct internal Gemba audits of manufacturing areas, issue official reports, communicate with the impacted team, and follow up on action plans
Maintain quality reporting in line with management requests
Your ideal background
Master’s degree in Engineering
Up to 3 years of experience in automotive and quality-related activities
Experience in quality assurance
Excellent communication skills (English/French)
Teamwork
Follow the legislation and internal policies in the area of EHS and environmental protection
