Who we are
Dowit connects curious people with knowledge holders: craftspeople, cooks, and guides who carry living traditions. We run craft workshops, culinary workshops, treasure hunts, and guided Medina tours out of Dar El Sanaa in the Médina de Tunis and the Palais Ennajm Ezzahra in Sidi Bou Said.
Our clients range from families spending a Saturday with a dinanderie artisan to multinationals looking for a team-building experience that actually means something.
We are a small team. We move fast, and we believe communication is not decoration.
The internship
Three months. Real work. You will not be shadowing someone or formatting spreadsheets. You will be in the Médina filming, writing, and publishing content that goes out under Dowit's name.
This internship fits a final-year student in communications, marketing, journalism, or audiovisual production looking for a meaningful PFE or end-of-studies experience.
What you will do
Create content. Film reels in the Médina. Capture an artisan's hands working copper or clay. Edit short videos. Shoot and publish — with guidance at first, independently as the internship progresses.
Write for social media. Instagram captions, LinkedIn posts, email campaigns. You will learn Dowit's editorial voice and apply it across formats and audiences.
Help build case studies. After corporate experiences, you will collect material — photos, feedback, numbers — and help turn it into content that communicates impact to B2B clients.
Contribute to the editorial calendar. You will not just fill slots. You will help decide what deserves to be said and when.
Support B2C content development. Dowit is building its tourism audience. You will produce content aimed at cultural travelers, both locally and internationally.
What we are looking for
You know how to film and edit a basic reel. CapCut, InShot, or equivalent. You are not a professional videographer yet, but you have the eye and you learn fast.
You write clearly, in French and in English. You know the difference between a caption that performs and one that just fills space.
You are organized enough to manage deadlines, comfortable enough to work independently after a brief onboarding.
Genuinely curious about craft, culture, and the Médina.
What you will take away
A portfolio of real content: reels, posts, case study materials, email campaigns.
An understanding of how a cultural social enterprise communicates across B2C and B2B audiences.
Direct exposure to editorial strategy, content production, and brand voice development in a fast-moving small team.
A strong PFE report topic if you need one. Dowit sits at the intersection of cultural heritage, social impact, and experiential economy. There is substance here.
