Business Intelligence Analyst – Data-Driven Insights

Hi Interns is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst intern to turn raw data into actionable insights and potentially develop trend prediction models to shape our platform and services.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and implement an ETL pipeline to clean, process, and analyze data.
• Work with the revenue team to define key metrics and KPIs for business decision-making.
• Analyze data to uncover insights and answer critical business questions, such as:
  • When does the internship season start?
  • What are the most prevalent fields or skills on Hi Interns?
  • Which companies require the most innovative skills?
  • Which skills are students struggling to find offers for?
  • When do students begin searching for internships?
  • Where do our users come from?
  • And many more as the project evolves.
• Explore opportunities to build trend prediction models to anticipate market needs and behaviors.
• Present insights through dashboards, visualizations, or reports.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of ETL processes and tools for data cleaning and transformation.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and databases (SQL).
• Awareness of machine learning techniques and interest in predictive modeling is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative mindset to work closely with the revenue team.
• Curiosity and drive to uncover insights from complex datasets.
