About Legal IQ

  • Fast-growing LegalTech company that digitized the entire Moroccan legal corpus from scratch.
  • Technology is 100% proprietary, including in-house OCR and computer vision pipelines.
  • Company fully owns its database; no third-party data and no illegal scraping.
  • Plans to expand into multiple African countries by Q2 2026.

Role & Responsibilities

  • End-of-studies internship (PFE) focusing on document processing and OCR pipelines.
  • Work on computer vision / OCR systems: improving OCR accuracy, document segmentation, layout analysis and pipeline integration.
  • Build production-ready components in Python to be deployed as part of Legal IQ’s proprietary stack.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering team members to integrate CV/OCR improvements into company systems.

Requirements

  • Strong Python skills (mandatory).
  • Solid AI/ML foundations, with emphasis on computer vision techniques used for OCR and document processing.
  • Passion for building production-ready systems and improving industrial pipelines.
  • Ability to work remotely and communicate effectively with a small engineering team.

Team & Opportunities

  • Join a team of 8 engineers and work directly with the CTO and founder.
  • Close collaboration with a lawyer on legal corpus aspects and product needs.
  • Paid internship with a strong opportunity for a full-time position (CDI) after the internship.
  • The company is hiring a total of 2 AI Engineer interns across the open profiles.
