Role & Responsibilities

• Internship focused on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures and AI optimization.
• Design, implement and optimize RAG pipelines, retrieval systems and relevance scoring.
• Work on production-ready AI components in Python and integrate them with the company’s legal database.
• Experiment with and improve model inference efficiency, relevance, and overall system performance.

Requirements

• Strong Python skills (mandatory).
• Solid foundations in AI/ML and experience or strong interest in RAG, retrieval, and NLP techniques.
• Enthusiasm for building production-ready, scalable AI systems and optimizing model deployments.
• Ability to collaborate with a small team and accept mentorship from senior engineers and the CTO.

Team & Opportunities

• Work directly with the CTO, collaborate with the founder and a lawyer, and join a team of 8 engineers.
• Paid internship with high potential for hiring into a CDI after successful completion.
