Project overview:
- Build a web platform for HR to open and manage hiring sessions, collect CVs and streamline evaluation workflows.
- The system must parse incoming CVs, evaluate completeness, and re-generate each CV into a standardized company template for unified review.
Core features to implement:
- Enable HR to open/manage hiring sessions, define desired positions and set evaluation criteria and required fields.
- Allow candidates to submit CVs directly onto the platform with support for PDF and Word formats; track and store all submissions for HR recordkeeping.
CV parsing and data extraction:
- Parse CVs to extract structured information such as education, skills, work experience, contact details and certifications.
- Automatically detect missing or incomplete data fields and flag them for HR review or candidate completion.
Template generation and evaluation:
- Automatically re-generate and display parsed CVs in a unified company template for side-by-side comparison by evaluators.
- Assign ratings and compatibility scores based on the declared position requirements and configurable weighting of criteria.
Search, filtering and management:
- Provide HR with search, filter and sorting capabilities (by score, skills, experience, submission date, etc.) to manage incoming applications efficiently.
- Maintain an audit trail and basic analytics of submissions per hiring session for reporting and recordkeeping.
Technical expectations & deliverables:
- Implement a backend service for document parsing (NLP/resume parsing), a templating engine for CV regeneration, and a responsive web UI for HR use.
- Deliver source code, deployment instructions, a test dataset, and documentation describing parsing accuracy, scoring logic and how to configure hiring sessions.
