Overview
- Internship focused on an in-depth study of student mobility trends, needs and behaviors of African students seeking to study abroad.
- Duration: 3 to 4 months. Number of positions: 3 interns. Project code: EDU-MKT01.
Main tasks and objectives
- Collect and analyze data about students’ preferred destinations and fields of study to identify demand patterns and emerging markets.
- Conduct surveys and interviews with prospective students and education counselors; study competitors and their marketing approaches to inform strategy.
- Help Eddium identify new target markets and improve marketing strategies through actionable insights and recommendations.
Tools & methodology
- Design and administer questionnaires using Google Forms; manage and preprocess data in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Perform statistical analysis and visualization with SPSS or Power BI; prepare visual assets and slides with Canva / PowerPoint for presentation.
Deliverables & presentation
- Prepare a detailed market report including insights, segmentation, prioritized target markets and concrete marketing recommendations.
- Present findings to Eddium’s management team (final presentation using PowerPoint / Canva).
Profile & skills required
- Skills: survey design, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, strong Excel/Sheets proficiency, familiarity with SPSS or Power BI, good written and oral communication.
- Preferred abilities: experience conducting interviews, competitor analysis, report writing and presentation skills; attention to detail and ability to synthesize insights.
