Description du poste

Overview

  • Department: Engineering. Profile: Engineer / Master´s student in Electromechanical.
  • Objective: design, develop and implement an automatic machine for marking wires to ensure fast and high-quality marking.
  • Number of interns: 02. Duration: 06 Months.

Main tasks

  • Conduct feasibility study and perform complete machine mechanical design (mechanisms, fixtures, frame, integration of marking head).
  • Create the electronic control system and specify components (motors, encoders, sensors, motor drivers, controllers, power supply, connectors).
  • Develop control software/firmware for the machine and the automated system using C/C++ and integrate with control hardware.
  • Implement safety devices (interlocks, guards, E‑stop, emergency procedures) and ensure compliance with relevant safety standards.
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation: user manual, maintenance manual, wiring diagrams, BOM and assembly instructions.
  • Train production personnel in the use and basic maintenance of the system.

Required skills & profile

  • Mechanical design and control system design experience (CAD, mechanism sizing, kinematics).
  • Embedded software development in C/C++ for motor/sensor control and real-time tasks.
  • Familiarity with motors (stepper/servo), sensors, controllers (PLC/embedded controllers) and electrical schematics.
  • Ability to write clear technical documentation and perform operator training.

Deliverables & expected outputs

  • Feasibility report, CAD models and detailed machine drawings ready for manufacture.
  • Electrical schematics, component specifications and a full Bill of Materials (BOM).
  • Control firmware/software in C/C++ with operator interface/HMI and test procedures.
  • Safety assessment, installation and commissioning plan, user and maintenance manuals.
  • Training sessions for production staff and handover package.
