Project overview

  • Implementation of a Kanban system to improve workflow, reduce work-in-progress, and ensure faster, more visual replenishment in the Logistics department.
  • Focus on integrating Kanban with existing material request and physical inventory management processes.

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Create and organize Kanban cards for products and production lines according to product flows and replenishment rules.
  • Link the Kanban process with physical inventory management and material request procedures to ensure accurate stock control.
  • Monitor performance indicators and suggest improvements to increase workflow efficiency and reduce lead times.

Required skills and profile

  • Engineering student with knowledge in material request management, stock management, and material flow processes.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills; ability to analyze inventory data and propose process improvements.

Practical details

  • Duration: 06 Months (4-6 months internship period).
  • Number of interns: 02 interns.
  • Expected deliverables: Kanban cards and layout, documented linkage between Kanban and inventory systems, performance monitoring reports, and improvement recommendations.
