Description du poste

Project overview

  • Develop an automated digital dashboard to monitor key quality indicators: PPM internal/external, scrap rate, audit results, actions follow-up, 8D progress.
  • Objective: reduce manual reporting time and provide improved real-time visibility for Quality and Production teams.

Key tasks and deliverables

  • Identify key indicators and data sources (production, quality, maintenance) and map data flows for each KPI.
  • Define KPI calculation methods and the visualization structure; produce a clear list of formulas and transformation rules.
  • Develop an automated dashboard using Excel (VBA), Power BI, or Python; ensure interactive visualizations and exportable reports.
  • Implement data connection and update automation (database logic, scheduled refreshes or macros) and deliver final dashboard files.
  • Validate the dashboard with end-users (Quality Manager, Production), incorporate feedback and finalize documentation.
  • Train users and prepare user documentation and quick-reference guides.

Required skills & technical stack

  • Advanced Excel (formulas, VBA) OR Power BI OR Python for dashboards and reporting automation.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality indicators and familiarity with quality metrics (PPM, scrap, audit findings, 8D tracking).
  • Understanding of database logic, data extraction, ETL basics and reporting automation; ability to connect to production/quality data sources.
  • Good communication and presentation skills to run validation sessions and user training.

Project specifics and organization

  • Duration: 06 Months; Number of interns: 02 interns.
  • Work includes: design of KPI calculations, implementation of automated refresh, user validation sessions, and creation of training materials.
  • Expected deliverables: working automated dashboard, documentation (calculation rules, data mapping), and training session completion.

Validation, stakeholders & support

  • Primary stakeholders: Quality Manager and Production representatives who will validate KPI definitions and dashboard usability.
  • Activities with stakeholders: validation workshops, iterative feedback incorporation, and final user acceptance testing.
  • Support: access to source data (production/quality/maintenance) and a contact in Quality for validation and acceptance.
