- Objective: ensuring optimal temperature regulation for the vehicle’s battery while meeting European standards for energy efficiency, cabin comfort, and cold-weather performance.
- System focus: Thermal Management & Cabin Heating System for the European Market with emphasis on 3D simulation work.
What you will do
- Perform 3D thermal simulations of the battery and cabin heating system to evaluate temperature distribution and transient behavior.
- Use Matlab for model development, data processing, and control strategy prototyping.
- Assess energy efficiency and cold-weather performance and propose improvements to meet European market requirements.
- Collaborate with R&D to translate simulation results into recommendations for hardware or control changes.
Required expertise & skills
- Technical: Matlab proficiency and experience or strong interest in numerical/3D simulation tools and thermal analysis.
- Analytical: Good analyzing skills to interpret simulation outputs and quantify performance vs. standards.
- Interpersonal: Teamwork skills and flexibility to work within the R&D department and coordinate with related teams.
