Overview

  • Department: Research and Development. Profile: Student in Electrical or Industrial Computing Engineering.
  • Goal: Create a system/tool to analyze, compare and extract key information from KBL (Keyline Binary Language) files to assist engineers and designers in reviewing and optimizing designs.

Objectives & Main Tasks

  • Develop software for visualizing KBL files to aid in design understanding and review.
  • Implement a comparison function to allow users to compare multiple KBL files and highlight design differences and potential improvements.
  • Extract meaningful insights from KBL files to support design verification and decision-making and ensure the tool offers value for continuous design improvement.

Technical Requirements & Required Skills

  • Required programming skills: C#, C++ (experience in one or both is expected).
  • Additional desirable skills: file parsing, binary format handling, GUI development (desktop or web), data extraction/analysis, familiarity with CAD/technical drawing concepts.

Deliverables & Expectations

  • A working prototype/tool that can load KBL files and render visual representations to help designers understand content.
  • A comparison module that produces clear reports or visual diffs between KBL files and exports results for review.
  • Documentation including usage instructions, design decisions, and recommendations for future enhancements.
  • Duration: 03 Months. Number of interns: 01 Intern.
