Project overview

  • Department: HR — Subject: 14. Number of trainees: 1.
  • Objective: build and modernize HR processes and tools including HR analytics, competency mapping, career path design, performance appraisal redesign, and a digital communication policy.

What you will do

  • Develop an HR Analytics Dashboard to collect, interpret and visualize HR data to support decision-making (using Excel, Power BI or equivalent).
  • Lead Competency Mapping & Career Path Design: analyse roles, define competencies, and propose career development paths aligned with organizational goals.
  • Redesign the Performance Appraisal System to improve fairness, clarity and alignment with competencies and career paths.
  • Create a digital communication policy for HR and propose HR development interventions (training, engagement initiatives).

Required Expertise

  • Understanding of HR functions including recruitment, training, performance appraisal, and employee engagement.
  • Ability to collect, interpret, and visualize HR data using tools like Excel or Power BI to support decision-making.
  • Knowledge of competency frameworks and designing career development paths aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analytical mindset, stakeholder communication skills, and ability to produce clear documentation and presentations for management.

Deliverables and outcomes

  • A functional HR Analytics Dashboard (interactive report or Power BI workbook) with key HR KPIs and visualizations.
  • Competency maps and documented career paths for targeted roles, including progression criteria.
  • A redesigned performance appraisal system proposal (process, templates, scoring/competency alignment).
  • A documented digital communication policy for HR and recommendations for HR development actions.
