Overview
Department: HR. Develop a Workforce Management Application to automate the HR database and streamline employee mobility, assignments and reassignments.
Goal: create a centralized, efficient tool that improves data accuracy and supports HR decision-making; aim for an automated HR database and clear workflows for mobility/assignment processes.
Objectives and Deliverables
Design and implement a robust database schema and data model to store employee records, mobility history, assignments and reassignments, ensuring data integrity and scalability.
Develop a web-based application (front-end and back-end) that allows HR users to manage the HR database, initiate and track mobility processes, handle assignments/reassignments, and generate reports.
Implement workflow automation for mobility and assignment/reassignment processes, notifications, role-based access, and basic reporting/BI features to support HR decisions.
Profile & Required Skills
Target profile: Master/Engineering degree in Computer Science, IT, Software, Information Systems, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering or Industrial Engineering (with IT/digital systems focus).
Required technical skills: knowledge of database management and data structures; basic software development or application design; web development skills.
Domain knowledge: understanding of HR processes (mobility, assignments, reassignments); analytical and problem-solving skills.
Practical Details
Number of trainees: 1 to 2 interns.
Duration: 4 months (company indication).
Expected outcomes: working web application prototype integrated with a normalized HR database, documentation of data model and workflows, demonstration of automated mobility/assignment processes.
Suggested Technical Stack & Good-to-haves
Databases: relational DB (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and familiarity with schema design and indexing strategies.
Back-end and APIs: experience with common web frameworks (Node.js, Django, Flask, Spring, etc.).
Front-end: basic web UI skills (React, Angular, Vue or equivalent) to build HR user interfaces and dashboards.
Optional: experience with BI/reporting tools, data validation, user authentication/authorization and simple notification systems.
