Description du poste
Project Overview
Build an AI assistant that executes voice or text commands inside Unreal Engine to automate repetitive editor tasks.
The system aims to speed up rapid prototyping by enabling developers to auto-generate characters, objectives, props, and behaviors and to manipulate scenes from within the editor.
Core Features & Responsibilities
Implement voice and text command handling for editor actions (spawn, move, scale, group assets, etc.).
Create auto-generation pipelines for characters, objectives, props, and behaviors to support fast prototyping workflows.
Integrate scene manipulation commands to spawn, move, scale, and group assets programmatically from commands.
Design Editor Utility Widgets or equivalent in-editor UI to expose assistant functionality to users.
Technology Stack & Implementation Details
Primary engine: Unreal Engine 5 with Editor Utility Widgets and editor scripting.
Backend and integration: Python for tooling and glue code; integration with Speech-to-Text APIs for voice command support.
AI components: GPT-based models (LLMs) for parsing and mapping natural-language commands to editor actions and behaviors.
Deliverables expected: a working in-editor prototype/plugin, demo scenes showing automated generation and manipulation, and documentation for usage and integration.
Candidate Profile & Desired Skills
Familiarity with Unreal Engine 5 editor workflows and editor scripting (Blueprints, Editor Utility Widgets, and/or Python scripting inside UE).
Experience integrating external APIs (Speech-to-Text) and working with GPT-based models or other LLMs for command interpretation.
Strong problem-solving skills to translate ambiguous natural language into deterministic editor operations; experience with prototyping tools and editor plugins is a plus.
Include in your email: a short CV, relevant project links or portfolio (prototype or plugin demos if available), and a brief description of relevant experience working with Unreal Editor tooling or AI integrations.
