Department: Industrial. Project to design and optimize a tracing table with an innovative guiding system and a safety system.
Objective: ensure performance stability and long-term mechanical resistance while producing a new design that can serve as a model for future tables.
Missions / Objectives
Study the current tracing table and identify its weaknesses and failure modes (mechanical, guiding, safety-related).
Propose concrete actions and design changes to eliminate weaknesses and enhance overall effectiveness, reliability and safety.
Tasks & Deliverables
Perform a detailed analysis of the existing table: mechanical stability, durability, components and safety systems.
Develop an improved CAD-based design and optimization of the guiding system and integrated safety system, including drawings and technical justification.
Deliver a prototype design (CAD models, BOM, manufacturing/process recommendations) to be used as a model for future tables.
Profile & Required Skills
Target: Master/Engineering degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Product Design, Industrial Engineering or similar (focus on manufacturing or machine design).
Required skills: knowledge of mechanical design and machine components, understanding of safety systems and performance optimization, proficiency in CAD/design software.
Additional skills: ability to analyze mechanical stability and durability, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Practical information
Number of trainees: 1.
Intern Duration (listed): 4 months.
Expected outcomes: a validated new table design with identified improvements, documentation for implementation and recommendations for long-term mechanical resistance and safety integration.
