Overview
- Department: QHSE. Analyse of needed and existing infrastructure to support JMP software on the HPC production line.
- Objective: configure the JMP software, implement Statistical Process Control (SPC) for the stripping and crimping processes, and train relevant employees to improve reactiveness to process deviations and prevent non-quality costs.
Main tasks and responsibilities
- Analyse current data acquisition, storage and processing infrastructure; identify gaps and propose technical requirements for JMP deployment.
- Configure JMP software (templates, dashboards, SPC charts) and integrate it with existing production data sources from the HPC line.
- Implement monitoring routines for stripping and crimping processes, including control charts, rules for alarm/notification and procedures for escalation.
- Validate the configured solution on-line, document configuration and produce user guides; deliver training sessions for operators and engineers.
Expected results and deliverables
- Operational JMP configuration with SPC dashboards monitoring stability and performance of stripping and crimping processes.
- Improved reactiveness to process deviations and recommendations to reduce non-quality costs; measurable KPIs for process stability.
- Training materials, user documentation and a final report summarizing analysis, configuration, tests and recommended next steps.
Profile and skills required
- Industrial student engineer or equivalent with knowledge of manufacturing processes (stripping/crimping advantageous).
- Strong skills in data analysis/statistics and interest or experience with SPC tools (JMP experience is a plus).
- Good communication and training skills to transfer knowledge to production staff and QHSE teams.
- Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and to produce technical documentation and reports.
