Detox testing

The Detox Tester Intern will assist the app development team in ensuring the quality and stability of mobile applications through comprehensive testing and analysis. This internship offers an opportunity to gain practical experience in software testing and quality assurance within a professional development environment. The intern will work closely with the development team to perform testing activities, report bugs, and contribute to the overall improvement of the application's user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Collaborate with the development team to understand application features, requirements, and user scenarios. Perform manual testing on mobile applications to identify defects, usability issues, and performance problems. Execute test cases and document test results to provide feedback to the development team. Assist in the creation and maintenance of test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Participate in bug tracking and reporting activities, ensuring clear and accurate documentation of issues. Support the development team in troubleshooting and resolving issues identified during testing. Learn and utilize the Detox testing framework to automate repetitive test cases and improve efficiency. Contribute to continuous integration and delivery processes by assisting in the development of automated test scripts. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of quality software releases. Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality assurance.

Qualifications Currently pursuing a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field. Strong interest in software testing, quality assurance, and mobile app development. Familiarity with mobile applications and mobile operating systems (iOS and Android). Basic understanding of software testing concepts and methodologies. Familiarity with programming languages such as JavaScript or Swift is a plus. Prior experience with testing frameworks or tools is beneficial but not required.
